Today we flew a Cessna 172N (N734MG) from Merritt Island (KCOI) down to Hillsboro Inlet for a scattering. Our total flight time was 2.9 hrs. This was my 18th flight.

Today we returned from a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise on the Disney Fantasy.
Our ports of call were Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Falmouth and Castaway Cay.
We stayed in stateroom # 9000 (Cat 08B Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom) located on Deck 9 fwd (all the way forward) on the port side.
Our stateroom host was Carol Elizabeth McFarlane. Our dining team included Claudia Gabriella Huatay Callapina (head server), I Made Widiantara “Widi” (server), and Mayi Laroya Fontanilla (asst server). Our cruise director was Stephen. Chrissy from Trinidad & Tobago (the same from our cruise in January) was our server when we visited Palo for brunch.
The evening before our visit to Castaway Cay, Lizzy fell while walking down the stairs in the Walt Disney theater, spraining her foot and removing a few layers of skin on the top of her foot. The next morning, we had it x-rayed just to make everyone feel better. Nothing was found to be broken.
The end of our 20th Disney cruise (Magic: 2, Wonder: 5, Dream: 5, Fantasy: 7, Wish: 1) marked our 125th night that we have spent on these beautiful ships.
Today we were able to join the virtual queue for the soft opening of Disney World’s TRON Lightcycle / Run
It was fun to be digitized and join the world of TRON!
Today we, along with Andrea’s mom, returned from a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy celebrating Andrea’s birthday.
Our ports of call were Tortola, St Thomas and Castaway Cay.
We stayed in stateroom # 8130 (Cat 04B – Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah) located on Deck 8 aft on the port side.
Our stateroom host was Leovy Acab Diola. Our dining team included Oscar Perez Cubas from Peru (head server), Lazar Pavlovic from Serbia (server), and Roy Yotomaruangi from Indonesia (asst server). Our cruise director was Trent. Chrissy from Trinidad & Tobago was our server when we visited Palo for brunch.
While at Castaway Cay, Andrea bought Joe a Bahamas Coin & Bill Collection, which included a fifty-cent bill that she thought was cool.
On the ship, Andrea talked Joe into buying a book titled “Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse – The Ultimate History”.
On St Thomas the four of us visited Coral World Ocean Park.
One of the entertainers was magician Eric Jones that appeared on America‘s Got Talent, Masters of Illusion, and Penn and Teller’s Fool Us.
Andrea and Lizzy went to karaoke and Lizzy sung Carrie Underwood‘s “Before He Cheats“.
The end of our 19th Disney cruise (Magic: 2, Wonder: 5, Dream: 5, Fantasy: 6, Wish: 1) marked our 118th night that we have spent on these beautiful ships.
Today we flew a Cessna 172R (N536HF) from Orlando North Airpark (FA83) in Zellwood to Daytona Beach (DAB) for two scatterings. Our total flight time was 1.1 hrs. This was my 17th flight.
Today we, along with Andrea’s parents, returned from a 4-night Bahamian cruise aboard the new Disney Wish.
This cruise was in celebration of Lizzy’s 18th birthday. She wanted to sail on the newest Disney ship, and wanted to dine in the special Palo restaurant on her birthday, and we were able to make both of those happen.
Our ports of call were Nassau and Castaway Cay.
We stayed in stateroom # 12028 (Cat 03A – Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah) located on – get this – concierge Deck 12 forward on the port side. Andrea’s parents stayed in stateroom # 6026.
Our stateroom hosts were Nortel Murray and Jasper Enriquez De Guzman. Our dining team included Cindy Jermaine Joseph McKenzie (head server), Darrilyn Sharon Erasmus (server), and Reza Permadi (asst server). Reza had previously injured himself, so Ted got to help us as well.
We had brunch in Palo Steakhouse, with Mario from Serbia as our server.
While at Nassau, Lizzy and I sailed on a catamaran to do reef snorkeling. Grammy sailed with us, but decided to enjoy the view from the catamaran.
When we visited Castaway Cay, the five of us participated in the Stingray Adventure, where you get to feel some of them and then snorkel in their area. We then got to go over to cabana #20, another first for us as usually the cabanas are booked. An advantage for concierge cruisers.

Today we flew a Cessna 172R (N670MA) from Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) to New Smyrna Airport (EVB) for a scattering near Ponce Inlet and then three more a little north. Our total flight time was 1.4 hrs. This was my 16th flight.
Over the past two weeks, we met with members of congress as part of Speak Now for Kids Family Advocacy Day.
On the 12th, we got to listen to actor Jacob Bertrand also known as Eli “Hawk” Moskowitz from the Netflix series “Cobra Kai” during our kickoff meeting.
On the 14th, we met with Congresswoman Castor and Congressman Soto, along with a representative from Congressman Franklin’s office.
On the 15th, we met with Congressman Bilirakis. We, along with other patient families, also met with Senator Scott’s office.
On the 17th, we met with a representative from Congressman Buchanan’s office.
On the 22nd, we met with Senator Rubio.
On the 23rd, we met with a representative from Congressman Crist’s office.
Today we flew a Cessna 172M (N12933) from Albert Whitted Airport (SPG) for a scattering near Longboat Key. Our total flight time was 0.9 hrs. This was my 15th flight.
